Holganix is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support month-end and year-end close activities, manage AP and AR functions, and ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of GAAP, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, journal entries, audit support, and collaboration with other departments to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting and finance experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist month-end and year-end close including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Maintain GAAP-compliant financial records and support audits.
• Generate customer invoices and post payments; monitor aging reports.
• Process vendor invoices; reconcile AP transactions and maintain vendor records.
