Job summary

PGA TOUR, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support all accounting activities for the designated business area. Responsibilities include month end close, reconciliations, budgets, forecasts, audit schedules and analysis to help drive accurate financial results.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 0-3 years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills; Workday experience is a plus. On-site Florida office with collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 0-3 years of accounting experience in industry.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP.
• Advanced skills Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
• Workday experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of accounting for the respective business area, including month end close, balance sheet reconciliations, budgets, forecasts, audit schedules, and related analysis.
• Assist month end close activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and record monthly accruals and revenue recognition entries.
• Review financial statements and perform variance analysis with budget/forecast.
• Coordinate with business-unit representatives and relay information to the Manager.
• Complete ongoing duties such as tax reports and coding reviews; support special projects as assigned.
