Atlas Van Lines is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in Evansville. You will support accurate financial reporting through account reconciliations, general ledger analysis, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with GL accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Ability to analyze financial data for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed reconciliations and analyses of general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post adjusting journal entries to correct discrepancies.
• Maintain and review accrual balances for expenses and liabilities.
• Prepare financial statements and analyses for decision support.
• Manage daily banking activities including reconciliations.
• Support audits and respond to audit requests.
• Oversee accounts receivable reporting and collections.
• Support billing activities and revenue recognition.
