Lensing Building Specialties in Evansville, IN, is seeking a Senior Accountant to blend traditional accounting with process improvements, data analytics, and reporting automation. You will manage reconciliations, fixed asset records, and ERP support while partnering with the Controller to keep financial operations accurate and efficient.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 3+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and comfort

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Comfort using AI tools for reporting and process work.
• Strong attention to detail and high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly and daily.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Analyze workflows and partner cross-departmentally to design and implement process improvements.
• Build reports and use data research, mining, and AI tools to drive analytics and process automation.
• Provide ERP system training and support to other users.
• Ensure accurate customer and vendor records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with the team on GAAP compliance and accounting standards.
