This 100% in-office role focuses on accounts payable ownership, month-end close, data reconciliation between ERP and TMS systems, general ledger entries, cost allocations, and support for audits and external reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own accounts payable function including invoice processing and month-end close.
• Process payments (checks, ACH, wires) with proper documentation.
• Import and verify financial data from ERP and TMS systems.
• Reconcile ERP and TMS data and validate carrier aging reports.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor and reconcile transportation and logistics expenses.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal policies.
• Collaborate with operations to track cost allocations.
• Support external audits and financial reporting.
