Atlas Van Lines is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting. The role covers GL analysis, journal entries, banking duties, AR reporting, and audits, supporting a compliant accounting function.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience or equivalent.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Experience preparing and interpreting financial statements and schedules.
• Experience supporting audits and responding to audit requests.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; effective written and verbal communication.

Aufgaben

• Perform detailed reconciliations and analyses of general ledger accounts for accuracy.
• Prepare and post adjusting journal entries to support accurate reporting.
• Maintain and review accrual balances for expenses and liabilities.
• Prepare financial statements and conduct analyses of performance.
• Manage daily banking activities, including reconciliations.
• Assist with audits and respond to audit requests as needed.
• Oversee accounts receivable reporting and timely invoicing and collections.
• Support billing activities to ensure accuracy and revenue recognition.
• Assist with budgeting and cost analyses for strategic decisions.
