Job summary

On a typical day you’ll handle month-end expense recording, reconciliations, regulatory compliance, and ad hoc reporting, collaborating with the driver payroll team and equipment rentals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Accounting Degree required.
• Trucking Industry and McLeod software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Month end expense recording & accruals.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and financial regulations.
• Account reconciliations.
• Recording & tracking reserves.
• Ensure travel & entertainment policy adherence.
• Ensure all monthly costs are accounted for and allocated.
• Claims and cargo liability reporting.
• Work closely with Driver payroll team.
• Oversite of equipment rentals.
• General Ad Hoc reporting.
