The Pivot Group Network in Jackson, MI is seeking a Staff Accountant to support inventory accounting, financial statements, month-end close, and audits for manufacturing clients in Michigan. Opportunities exist with multiple Jackson-area manufacturers, with long-term fit and career growth in mind.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 0–4 years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in ERP systems and Advanced Excel.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
0 to 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Bonus: advanced Excel (pivot tables, etc.), CPA/CMA encouraged.
Experience with cost accounting and inventory valuation; SOX familiarity is a plus.

Staff Accountant | Jackson, MI

Salary Range:

$56,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

CPA or CMA certification or progress toward certification.
Experience with cost accounting and inventory valuation.
Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls.
