Trace3 is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the accounting team with day-to-day financial data, month-end close, and reporting. You will research variances, prepare journal entries, and assist with audits in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

The role requires a BA in Accounting, at least 2 years of accounting experience, and strong GAAP knowledge. Expertise in NetSuite and Power BI is a plus; the position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience in public or private settings.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
• Proficient in Excel with clear, supported analyses.
• Experience with NetSuite and Power BI preferred.
• Ability to research variances and present solutions.
• Interest in process improvements to boost efficiency.

Responsabilités

• Daily cash reconciliations and related journal entries.
• Payroll accounting including earnings, bonuses, and benefits activity.
• ASC 842 lease accounting including schedules and footnote support.
• CECL accounting under ASC 326, reserve calculations and anomalies.
• GL analysis and variance explanations for balance sheet and P&L.
• Participate in monthly close with journal entries.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in annual audit preparation and schedules.
• Support auditors with requested information and timely deliverables.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports for management.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
