Job summary

Global Electronics Association is seeking a Staff Accountant to support month-end close, GL maintenance, payroll processing in ADP, and HRIS administration. You will own end-to-end payroll in ADP and partner with HR on data integrity, while maintaining core accounting functions for timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities include multi-state payroll processing, GL reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and assisting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency with ADP payroll and HRIS platforms.
• Experience with mid-market ERPs (NetSuite, Dynamics, Sage) or similar.
• Familiarity with AI agents in accounting tasks.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and stakeholder partnership.

Responsibilities

• Payroll and HRIS: Prepare, process, and reconcile biweekly payroll in ADP; maintain employee records and ensure data integrity; administer payroll-related taxes and garnishments; coordinate year-end W-2s.
• General Accounting and Close: Assist with full-cycle month-end/year-end close; journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; maintain GL and resolve variances.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Support financial statements and management reports; assist audits by compiling schedules; ensure GAAP compliance.
• AP/AR and Cash: Oversee complex AP/AR issues; review aging and payment runs; perform cash reconciliations and bank settlements.
• Systems and Process Improvement: Serve as ADP and HRIS super-user; drive automations and process efficiencies; collaborate cross-functionally to improve data quality.
