Job summary

The Global Electronics Association is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the month-end close, general ledger maintenance, payroll processing, and HRIS administration. This role owns end-to-end payroll in ADP, partners with HR on employee data integrity, and performs core accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency with ADP payroll and HRIS platforms.
• Strong Excel skills including lookups, pivots, and reconciliations.
• Experience with mid-market ERP systems (NetSuite, MS Dynamics, Sage).
• Familiarity with AI agent use in accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-state biweekly ADP payroll processing and reconciliation.
• Maintain HRIS records and ensure data integrity with HR on onboarding and timekeeping.
• Support full-cycle month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, general ledger schedules, and flux analyses.
• Oversee complex AP/AR issues and cash reconciliations; assist audits.
• Drive ADP/HRIS automations and cross-functional process improvements.
