Job summary

M3 USA Corporation is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Fort Washington, MD. You will manage monthly close processes, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany invoices supporting multiple business units.

The role requires 1–3 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with NetSuite and IFRS. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities to work with a global healthcare technology leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• 1–3 years of related accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and XLOOKUP.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP.
• Understanding of IFRS accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries for leases, fixed assets, goodwill, tax, audit, legal, and other costs.
• Prepare monthly cost allocations for professional services, rent and utilities, software subscriptions, and shared personnel costs across business units.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts for assigned units, including intercompany receivables and loans, fixed assets and depreciation, goodwill and intangible assets, investments in subsidiaries, and other items.
• Support month-end close by completing assigned reconciliations and journal entries within established deadlines.
• Maintain accurate fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
• Apply customer payments daily and maintain current receivables records.
• Prepare and distribute monthly intercompany invoices and payroll allocations.
• Distribute customer invoices several times per week.
• Invoice clients monthly for billable recruiter travel and reconcile receipts monthly.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested.
• Analyze monthly results for assigned units and provide observations to management.
• Evaluate appropriate accounting treatment and document conclusions.
