Job summary

The Home in Dublin, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a flexible hybrid role. This entry-level position offers ownership of core accounting processes, exposure to month-end close, and a path to grow into roles like General Ledger Accountant or Senior Staff Accountant.

You’ll contribute to accurate financial reporting and decision-support in a hi-growth tech environment. Earn a competitive salary between $65,000 and $95,000, with comprehensive benefits and hybrid/remote

Qualifications

You apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) consistently.
You have 0–2 years of hands-on journal entries, GL, reconciliations, and month-end close.
You are familiar with accounting software or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Prepare and transmit A/R invoices, receive cash, and handle customer queries.
Prepare accurate journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules for the general ledger.
Perform timely account reconciliations and investigate variances.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for financial statements.
Partner with stakeholders to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Use accounting software/ERP to organize data and support reporting.
Assist with financial analysis and audit or tax-related requests as needed.
