Parker Trutec, Inc. in Springfield, Ohio, is seeking a Staff Accountant who will own multiple projects, maintain daily accounting functions, and ensure accurate financial statements.

The role reports to the VP of Finance and Administration and requires a hands-on, detail-focused approach. The position involves GL reconciliations, monthly statements, tax filings, fixed assets management in SAGE, 1099s, receivables, audits, and year-end inventory.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years’ accounting experience.
• GL and account reconciliation experience.
• Willingness to be very hands on.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Team oriented and dependable.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain financial reports, records, general ledgers and general bookkeeping for Parker Trutec, Inc.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including prepaid insurance and accruals.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for submission to Company Directors.
• File quarterly CAT and Sales tax.
• Maintain fixed asset schedule, including SAGE depreciation.
• File 1099 Forms.
• Monitor and follow up on receivables.
• Maintain budgets, depreciation schedules, cash flows, etc.
• Review payroll reports, monthly accruals and GAAP entries.
• Analyze data to determine variances and anomalies.
• Participate in audits and year-end inventory.
• Projects and other duties as assigned.
• Other duties as asked by the Controller.
