Parks Building Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support two entities. This role handles general accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close, ensuring GAAP compliance.

Onsite in Fayetteville, NC with opportunities for growth and benefits including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans. The candidate will manage AP/AR backups, ITIN withholding, invoicing, and assist the controller with various tasks in a dynamic materials distribution company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance/accounting preferred.
• 2+ years of related accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or NetSuite and Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with balance sheets, income statements, and financial reports.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closings, including accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Assist with internal and external audits and provide documentation.
