Visterra Landscape Group is seeking a Staff Accountant in St. Louis, MO to support general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations, banking, and sales tax.

Reporting to the Regional Accounting Manager, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate monthly closings and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong accounting experience, cross-functional communication, and a commitment to integrity and accuracy, with a focus on delivering

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience in Accounting.
• Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Microsoft Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (Acumatica, Aspire, Concur, FloQast, Avidpay) preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operators and leaders.
• Strong communication with customers and internal staff.
• High integrity and teamwork.
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Process monthly journal entries.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes with Regional Accounting Manager.
• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns as needed.
