Visterra Landscape Group in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. The role focuses on general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations, banking, and sales tax, reporting to the Regional Accounting Manager.

The ideal candidate works well cross-functionally and independently in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, with compensation based on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related accounting experience.
• Associate degree minimum; Bachelor's preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Acumatica, Aspire, Concur, FloQast and Avidpay preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operators and leaders.
• High level of communication and integrity.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process banking activities and sales tax filings.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
• Assist internal and external audits as needed.
• Manage full AP process and vendor setup.
• Support AR activities and collections.
• Provide KPIs for monthly reporting packages.
