Arcwood Environmental, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to join onsite in Joplin, MO. The role supports the integrity of financial reporting and general accounting operations across AP, AR, payroll, billing, and GL activities.

You will work with accounting leadership to produce timely financial information, maintain strong controls, and assist with budgeting, close processes, and audits while pursuing process improvements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 1+ years of accounting experience preferred; recent grads encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare location-level financial statements and supporting schedules in GAAP compliance.
• Maintain strong internal controls and accurate financial records.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with leadership to research issues and support decision-making.
• Participate in audits and cross-functional improvement projects.
