The ideal candidate works well cross-functionally and independently in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, with compensation based on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related accounting experience.
• Associate degree minimum; Bachelor's preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Acumatica, Aspire, Concur, FloQast and Avidpay preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operators and leaders.
• High level of communication and integrity.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process banking activities and sales tax filings.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
• Assist internal and external audits as needed.
• Manage full AP process and vendor setup.
• Support AR activities and collections.
• Provide KPIs for monthly reporting packages.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Staff Accountant who is a focused and motivated individual looking for a unique opportunity to accelerate their future at Full Care, a Visterra partner company.

The Staff Accountant who will work closely with local leadership and accounting teams on general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis, banking, and sales tax. Reporting to the Regional Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for interactions with internal team members from all departments along with external customers and vendors. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working cross-functionally as a team as well as independently.

Compensation:

Full Care offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually, but actual compensation will vary depending upon new hire experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

• Monthly Journal Entries
• Assist with Balance Sheet reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Regional Accounting Manager to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes
• Ensure all federal, state, and local tax returns are prepared and filed as needed
• Assist with Internal and External Audits as needed
• Perform daily bank entries and reconcile all bank accounts on a weekly basis.
• Provide KPIs for the monthly reporting packages
• Reconcile amex cards with concur and record for month end.
• Manage full AP process -including entering invoices, reviewing statements, creating vendors, requesting w-9’s
• Provide back up support to AR-including entering customer payments and assisting with collection efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience, Skills, & Abilities:

• 3+ years of related work experience in Accounting
• Education: Minimum of an Associates degree, required. Bachelors degree is preferred
• Microsoft Suite, required.
• Acumatica, Aspire, Concur, FloQast, and Avidpay preferred
• Be able to work cross-functionally with operators and key leaders.
• Have a high level of communication with customers and internal personnel.
• Be a resourceful team player who thinks independently
• A high level of integrity and pride in team successes and delivering on promises.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills while understanding how to prioritize conflicting needs.
• Ability to work independently

Physical Demands:

• Position involves work that includes moving, adjusting, or carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs. on occasion
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to be on-call as needed
• Use office equipment including telephones, printers, shredders, etc.
