Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to handle day-to-day accounting activities, including revenue transactions, journal entries, and month-end close support.

The role emphasizes accuracy, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement using Excel and ERP systems. The ideal candidate has about 2+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Approximately 2+ years of related work experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting concepts.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including large data sets, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting templates.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate daily customer sales activity, invoices, and related transactions.
• Prepare revenue-related reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Process and reconcile customer rebate and admin fee transactions and related payments.
• Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close processes and related reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance and external auditors to provide timely support.
• Improve reporting templates and leverage ERP tools for efficiency.
• Support SOX compliance and internal control activities.
• Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives.
