Job summary

RMS USA is growing its finance team and seeking a Staff Accountant to handle the full accounting cycle in a hands-on environment. You’ll post journal entries, assist in month-end close, run reconciliations, and support audits while contributing to process improvements.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience with NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting, general ledger, or financial reporting experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to the general ledger.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Perform account reconciliations including bank, credit card, and intercompany accounts.
• Analyze financial data and provide variance explanations to support management reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, including depreciation schedules.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies.
• Support external and internal audit requests by preparing documentation and schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and process improvements.
• Assist with sales tax filings and other regulatory compliance requirements as needed.
