Job summary

3 Bridge Networks is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the accounting function as the business scales. You will work closely with the Accounting Manager and finance team on month-end close, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with 2+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience; public accounting or experience in a growing company is a plus.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and the month-end close process.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, payroll-related entries, and other recurring activity.
• Complete bank, balance sheet, and other account reconciliations, researching and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting schedules.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and expense-reporting activities as needed.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting and variance analyses.
• Assist with fixed assets, prepaid expenses, intercompany activity, and cash management.
• Support the annual audit and assist with requests from external auditors and tax providers.
• Help identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen documentation, and reduce manual work.
• Participate in ad hoc accounting projects as the company grows.
