Job summary

TXB in Bonham, TX is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team. You will handle day-to-day accounting tasks and assist with the month-end close under the direction of the Senior Accountant.

Key duties include maintaining General Ledger integrity, reconciling accounts, and assisting with sales tax filings. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with all levels of the company.
• Eligibility for Daily Pay Partner.

• Vacation, Holiday and Bereavement leave.
• Eligibility after 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting tasks and assisting with the month-end close.
• Maintain and analyze General Ledger integrity along with supporting schedules.
• Reconcile various general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing required tax filings (Sales and Use Tax).
• Assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Perform general office duties as needed.
