Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 0-2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of banking functions and operations.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and prepare financial statements in GAAP.
• Prepare monthly GL reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare and enter journal entries with proper documentation.
• Ensure internal controls over GL uploads and entries are strong.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and provide insights for accuracy.
• Assist in preparing regulatory and SEC reporting schedules.
• Support internal and external audit requests as needed.
• Maintain accounting and reporting policies and procedures.
