Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team. You will support month-end close, maintain general ledger accuracy, and assist with reconciliations and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication skills to partner with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes.
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets and prepaids.
• Experience supporting financial statements and reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Prepare and record journal entries including accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain schedules for fixed assets, prepaids, accruals and balance sheet accounts.
• Support inventory accounting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Assist with revenue recognition and accounting across entities.
• Analyze financial results and investigate fluctuations in account balances.
• Maintain documentation per internal control procedures.
• Assist with internal controls testing and audit requests.
• Prepare schedules for external reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with teams to meet reporting deadlines and goals.
• Participate in process improvements and special projects.
