Job summary

LHH is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing multi-entity organization. The role focuses on month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis, with strong US GAAP and SOX controls.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and comfort working independently in a deadline-driven environment while collaborating with internal teams and external parties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of general accounting experience.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience in a publicly traded company and/or multi-entity environment.
• Experience reviewing financial statements and performing variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities across corporate-level entities.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations, including accruals and allocations.
• Perform monthly GL reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Complete daily bank reconciliations and post entries.
• Analyze GL accounts and explain fluctuations and variances.
• Apply US GAAP and SOX controls to daily accounting tasks.
• Assist with audits and internal control requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to resolve issues.
