Anderson International Corp seeks an accounting professional to perform core functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting support within a manufacturing setting. You will work under guidance from senior staff, growing independence as proficiency develops.

Responsibilities include posting to the general ledger, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end/quarter-end close, and supporting audits. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of GAAP are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• 1 to 4 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
• Reconcile cash sheet weekly and balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements and audits as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Help maintain accurate fixed asset and depreciation records.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Assist with sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Support external auditors during annual audits by providing requested documentation.
• Perform other accounting duties and special projects as assigned.
• Assist with Cost Accounting as proficiency develops.
