Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting/finance; three to five years preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business systems; advanced Excel required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepares financial reports detailing assets, liabilities, P&L and tax obligations.
• Creates journal entries and reconciles data across accounting systems.
• Maintains general ledger and supports monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting.
• Reconciles primary and subsidiary banking accounts; supports audits.
• Notifies supervisor of discrepancies and resolves issues promptly.
• Files required tax forms with federal, state, and local agencies; ensures GAAP compliance.
