Job summary

ORW | 4WP seeks an experienced Staff Accountant at our corporate office in Gardena, CA. You will independently manage general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.

You will analyze variances, support audits, and collaborate with accounts payable/receivable, inventory, and fixed assets teams across multiple locations. This onsite, full-time role demands strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience including general ledger and month-end close.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience independently managing accounting responsibilities and resolving issues.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and ERP/accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage general ledger accounts and accounting functions ensuring accurate reporting per U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Own month-end and year-end closing activities and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports, analyze variances, and suggest process improvements.
• Collaborate with AP/AR, inventory, fixed assets, and other departments to improve accuracy.
• Support audits and strengthen internal controls across multiple locations.
