LLE Education Group in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a meticulous Staff Accountant to support financial operations through full-cycle accounting, including ledger entries, reconciliations, and reporting. You will work closely with the Accounting Manager and CFO to ensure accurate financial statements and timely closes.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Prepare general ledger entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Perform bank account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in fixed asset tracking and running depreciation.
• Conduct periodic inventory walkthroughs at centers and reconcile to the general ledger.
• Assist with the preparation of annual tax filings and external audits, including providing reconciliations, schedules and supporting documents.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal financial policies.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide support to centers to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations, offering financial insights and assistance as needed.
