You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules while ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls. Responsibilities include monthly close support, accounts payable assistance, recurring reports, and financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 2-5+ years of staff accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel and other accounting software as needed.
• Prior use of ERP systems and reporting software is desired.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, and cost control procedures; ability to reconcile records.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and posts journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and other adjustments with supporting documentation.
• Supports monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities and deadlines.
• Prepares account reconciliations and investigates discrepancies.
• Provides accounts payable support and vendor research as needed.
• Runs recurring daily, weekly, monthly, and period-end reports; ensures audit-ready documentation.
• Performs budgeting/variance analysis and supports audits.
• Assists with tax, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
