Job summary

The NAB Leadership Foundation is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Corporate Accounting Department in the monthly close process and analyze financial performance across multiple markets.

Responsibilities include preparing depreciation and general ledger journal entries for 30–40 markets, maintaining fixed asset records, CIP reconciliations, and assisting with audits and SOX controls. Strong communication and detail orientation are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with attention to detail.
• Minimum two years' experience in corporate accounting or financial analysis, preferably in the broadcast industry or public company.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly accounting close and journal entries.
• Prepare depreciation and general ledger journal entries for 30–40 markets.
• Maintain fixed asset records and CIP reconciliations.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and GL accounts.
• Process AP edits; review sales tax on invoices.
• Assist with quarterly/annual schedules for auditors.
• Coordinate daily communications between Corporate and Chief Engineers.
• Perform ad hoc accounting projects as assigned.
