Mygrant Glass is hiring a Staff Accountant in Hayward, CA to maintain financial records, run month-end close, reconcile accounts, and assist with financial statements in line with GAAP. This full-time, onsite role focuses on cash, rebates, prepaid expenses, taxes, payroll, and state filings, coordinating with branches to maintain licenses and permits, and supporting audits.

The company offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive pay range of $85,000 to $105,000 per year, with overtime

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (required)
• Minimum of two years of professional accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills

Responsabilités

• Participates in month-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Reconciles general ledger accounts and investigates variances.
• Prepares and coordinates sales and use tax filings across states.
• Processes and reconciles rebates and tax payments.
• Supports audits and assists with budgeting and forecasting.
