HORIBA Instruments in Irvine, CA, is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role requires a BS in accounting or finance, SAP FI/CO experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/university.
• Knowledge of general and cost accounting principles.
• SAP FI/CO experience.
• Experience organizing sales and use tax returns and monthly reconciliations.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Support the month end general ledger close and prepare journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Support tax research and filings.
• Identify process improvements and controls.
• Assist in planning and post-merger activities.
• Support audits and other duties as required.
