Job summary

Irvine Company in Irvine, CA is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to maintain the integrity of financial statements and oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

You will generate monthly reports, support internal and external audits, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and leverage technology, including SAP, Excel, and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close responsibilities and journal entries.
• Lead process improvements and system enhancements.
• Prepare reconciliations for General Ledger accounts and resolve variances.
• Generate monthly reports and provide variance commentary.
• Support internal and external audit requests with accurate data.
• Cross-train with team members to promote career growth.
