Job summary

Precision Castparts seeks a Staff Accountant to support monthly closing, journal entries, AR, forecasting, analysis, reconciliations, and reporting. The role covers COS reconciliation, credit analysis, payroll posting to ADP, and cash management tasks.

Ideal candidate has experience with SOX controls, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with others. Some travel within the US may be required.

• Experience with standard costing and Sarbanes-Oxley principles preferred.
• Familiar with MS Office and internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly closing including journal entries and closing AR.
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
• Track, analyze, and report on customer accounts.
• Analyze and propose customer credit limits.
• Manage all accounts receivable activities from invoicing to reconciliations.
• Perform COS reconciliation including material passthrough.
• Forecast AR and treasury cash receipts.
• Process payroll entries and benefits distribution and reconcile to ADP.
• Handle banking transactions (wires, ACHs).
