Geeslin Group is a mid-sized regional public accounting firm offering tax, accounting, audit, and advisory services to individuals and businesses. The Staff Accountant - CAS will manage day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of clients, maintain ledgers, reconcile accounts, process payroll and vendor payments, and prepare financial statements and recurring filings.

Under the CAS Manager, you will prepare trial balances, track deadlines, and ensure compliance.

Qualificações

• 1+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Public accounting and payroll experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of the full accounting cycle and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and maintain client charts of accounts and record transactions accurately.
• Prepare trial balances, workpapers, and tax preparation support.
• Track filing deadlines and client compliance needs.
• Process payroll, vendor payments, and accounts receivable collections.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and depreciation schedules.
• Provide guidance and software support to clients and staff.
• Deliver courteous, timely client service and maintain professional records.
