Job summary

Geeslin Group in Newnan, GA is seeking a Senior CAS Accountant to join our Client Accounting Services team. You will manage monthly closes for a portfolio of outsourced clients, prepare financial statements, and serve as their day-to-day contact.

You will mentor staff, review work, and collaborate with the CAS Manager to keep engagements accurate and on schedule, while leveraging cloud tools to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• CPA or EA credential (or active progress toward one) preferred.
• 3–5 years of public accounting experience.
• Experience with CAS and GAAP is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close for a portfolio of outsourced clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reconciliations.
• Serve as the primary client contact and meet deadlines.
• Mentor staff accountants and train new team members.
• Collaborate with CAS Manager to monitor workflow and budgets.
• Support payroll, A/P, A/R, and sales tax processes as needed.
• Identify process improvements and leverage technology.
