The Client Accounting Services (CAS) Staff Accountant role supports external clients by recording, classifying, and reconciling transactions to maintain reliable records and to perform routine financial analysis.

Responsibilities include entering transactions, reconciling statements, and preparing financial statements while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Qualifications

• 2-year accounting degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years accounting experience preferred.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• 2 years of QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
• 16 hours of continuing education annually.
• Proficiency with Office 365 software.

Responsibilities

• Enter and reconcile financial transactions in client accounting software.
• Record prepaid expenses, accruals, interest, and depreciation.
• Utilize technology and automation tools to streamline data entry and adjustments.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client and firm information.
• Prepare and file sales tax and other required tax returns.”,
