Job summary

Carr, Riggs & Ingram is seeking an Accountant, CAAS to support Client Accounting Services (CAS). The role covers bookkeeping, payroll, payroll tax, sales/use tax, and financial statement prep for multiple clients.

The candidate should have at least two years of bookkeeping experience and a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and common accounting software. Overtime is expected from January through March.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of bookkeeping experience; accounting degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word; familiarity with Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle client accounts in CAS with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare financial statements and manage payroll, payroll tax, and sales/use tax.
• Demonstrate reliability, integrity, and ability to work independently or in a team; handle overtime January through March.
