Job summary

Berklee College of Music is seeking a Staff Accountant to lead AP card programs and reconciliations using Workday. You will manage JP Morgan and T-Card activities, train staff, and ensure policy compliance while supporting budgeted expenditures.

Responsibilities include monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and audit support. A 2–4 year accounting background in AP or card administration is preferred, with strong Excel and Workday skills. On-site role in Boston, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience with AP, corporate card admin, or auditing.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) required.
• Experience with Workday Financials and J.P.Morgan PaymentNet preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enforce compliance while being service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee J.P.Morgan card program administration and MCC restrictions.
• Audit transactions for compliance with internal policies, funding constraints, and IRS regulations.
• Lead onboarding and training on card usage and Workday expense workflows.
• Perform monthly Workday reconciliations and GL journal entries.
• Generate spend analytics and support year-end audits.
