Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the accounting department with AR processing, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. This role ensures accuracy and compliance with company policies and timely preparation of financial reports.

The position reports to the Controller and supports multiple entities within the portfolio. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 4–7+ years of accounting experience are required, with preference for manufacturing or

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
4–7+ years of accounting experience.
Experience in manufacturing, construction, or similar environments preferred.
Strong understanding of General Ledger and financial reporting.
End-to-end accounting process knowledge with ERP experience (NetSuite or similar).

Responsibilities

Manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process, including deposit invoicing, cash application, and collections.
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
Perform AR-related reconciliations and prepare AR reports for management.
Support month-end close and financial reporting activities.
Collaborate with operations, payroll, and finance to improve processes.
