Job summary

AngelList, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant for AP and Procurement to own the procure-to-pay process across a multi-entity environment. You’ll apply accounting judgment to invoices, manage vendors and POs, and drive automation to scale the workflow without sacrificing controls.

This role emphasizes understanding the transactions behind the numbers, making independent decisions, and supporting month-end close with audit-ready schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience with ownership of accounts payable at volume.
• Ability to defend accounting decisions without direct supervision.
• Experience with multi-subsidiary environments and intercompany activity.

Responsibilities

• Own AP, code invoices with judgment and classify expenses.
• Run procurement end-to-end including PO management and vendor onboarding.
• Automate processes to scale, integrating Ramp with NetSuite and reducing manual work.
• Support month-end close with intercompany activity and audit-ready documentation.
