Job summary

NOBEL Women in Glendora is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting with emphasis on AP, GL reconciliations, and journal entries. This role blends paper and digital invoice processing to maintain accurate records.

You will handle AP invoices, GL reconciliations, accruals, month-end close, and vendor communications, ensuring compliance with company policies. Strong Excel and accounting software experience is required; 2+ years in similar roles preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience including AP and GL responsibilities.
• Experience handling both paper and paperless invoice systems.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices with proper coding and approvals.
• Manage invoice workflows, scanning, filing, and digital records.
• Perform GL reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals.
• Support month-end close processes.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Assist with payment processing (checks, ACH, wires).
• Maintain vendor records and assist audits.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP and accounting processes.
