Atlas World Group, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in Evansville, Indiana.

You will perform reconciliations, GL analysis, journal entries, and financial statement prep while supporting banking, accounts receivable, billing, audits, and budgeting activities. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, excels with financial data, and maintains accuracy and compliance across the accounting function.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience or equivalent.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Perform reconciliations and analyses of general ledger accounts for accuracy.
• Prepare and post adjusting journal entries.
• Maintain and review accrual balances.
• Prepare financial statements and conduct analyses.
• Manage daily banking activities and bank reconciliations.
• Support audits and respond to audit requests.
• Oversee accounts receivable reporting and collections.
• Support billing activities and revenue recognition.
• Assist with budgeting and cost analyses.
