Kaman & Cusimano, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant in Indianapolis to join our growing firm. This on-site role supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting with a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with GL posting. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and familiarity with Dynamics 365 or Business Central is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering, pivot tables).
• Experience with transaction coding, reconciliations, and data entry.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 or Business Central is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Enter and process vendor invoices with proper coding.
• Prepare payments by check or credit card and maintain vendor records.
• Process incoming payments (checks, ACH, wires).
• Prepare bank deposits and post payments to customer accounts.
• Code receipts and budget items using GL codes.
• Assist with reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
