Job summary

CFS in Wisconsin is seeking a Staff Accountant I for a hybrid role at our Oconomowoc campus. The position offers a $70,000-$80,000 base salary plus a 12.5% target bonus, with four in-office days and one remote day each week.

Core responsibilities include month-end close support, fixed asset accounting, PO review, variance analysis, and collaboration with accounting and FP&A on automation and process improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2–3 years of public accounting (audit) experience or 3–4 years of progressive industry accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.
• Manage fixed asset accounting processes, including asset capitalization, tracking, and maintenance within the ERP system.
• Review purchase orders and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
• Perform variance analysis and assist leadership in understanding financial performance drivers.
• Partner with accounting and FP&A leadership on process improvements, audit support, automation initiatives, and special projects.
