• Financial Reconciliation & Compliance: reconcile reports, resolve discrepancies, assist audits and DCAA reporting.
• Administrative & System Support: update Excel schedules, save bank statements, assist with Deltek Costpoint setup.

The Tone:

This is a full-time role at IntelliDyne, LLC, located in Tysons Corner, VA, with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday. IntelliDyne empowers government organizations through quality, mission-aligned services and innovative IT solutions. This Staff Accountant position is an integral member of the Finance & Accounting Department, supporting day-to-day accounting operations and reporting directly to the Controller.

• Mission: Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and support compliance within a government contracting framework.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Accounts Payable: Review and maintain the AP inbox to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, and employee expense reports, including obtaining appropriate approvals.
• Accounts Receivable: Enter cash receipts, monitor aging reports, and assist with follow-up on outstanding balances with clients.
• Payroll & Timesheet Management: Review and process employee timesheets semi-monthly, generate timesheet reports, assist with payroll processing, and support timesheet corrections.
• Financial Reconciliation & Compliance: Perform reconciliations of reports, including credit cards and subcontractor reports, assist with researching and resolving discrepancies, and support audits, property tax filings, and DCAA related reporting.
• Administrative & System Support: Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks such as updating Excel schedules, saving monthly bank statements, booking travel reservations, and assisting with new hire and termination setup in Deltek Costpoint.

The Must-Haves

• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; foundational understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and government contracting requirements.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of direct, relevant experience in accounting and/or finance.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel to include lookups and pivot tables, required knowledge and experience with Deltek Costpoint, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
