Job summary

Oklahoma Chiller Corporation in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant to keep the day-to-day financial operations accurate, organized, and moving forward.

This role covers billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, purchase orders, reconciliations, and close support, with emphasis on investigation of discrepancies and process improvement. You will work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities including AR, invoicing, billing, collections and cash receipts.
• Reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and invoices and investigate discrepancies.
• Own components of month-end and year-end close processes.
• Research discrepancies, identify root causes, and determine corrective actions.
• Work with customers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate supporting documentation and accounting records.
• Identify and document process improvements and assist in new procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the accounting team and broader business wherever needed.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD

• 3-5 years of hands‑on accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant accounting experience will be considered
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience with AP, AR, billing, and reconciliations
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to investigate discrepancies rather than simply identify them
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to organize competing priorities and follow work through to completion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Sense of ownership and accountability
