Job summary

Addison Group partnered nonprofit organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage grant accounting and financial reporting for a diverse portfolio. The role is based in the north side of San Antonio with a salary in the 60–65K range plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Key duties include invoicing for state or federal contracts, grant compliance, intercompany transactions, and assisting monthly/year-end close and grant fund expenditures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Knowledge of GAAP is required.
• Non-profit accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs accounting and financial reporting for assigned grant portfolio.
• Preparation of invoices, including state or federal contract invoices and collection of funds.
• Maintains compliance with grant contracts.
• Performs intercompany transactions.
• Supports proper and timely expenditure of grant funds.
• Prepares and assists in the preparation of all applicable fiscal reports from grant portfolio.
• Reconciles accounts receivable for monthly close.
• Performs various month end close duties.
